WWSIP DAY

What better way to spread interest and demonstrate your skill of an ancient craft than doing it in public….where everyone can see you? That’s what WWSIP day is for! Admittedly, it’s a bit of a longish acronym, but things like this don’t come around very often for yarnspinners- we’ve got it and we’ll take it. Worldwide spin in public day! Have you heard of it? No? Well, now you have! It’s the day for us dedicated (or newbie) spinners to go on an outdoor adventure with our beloved spindles and wheels (Let’s go, Traddy!) and spin where the sun shines.

Sure, introverts may shudder at the thought of the public part- (its cool introverts, you do you- we still love you), but for the rest of us: let’s get out, let’s connect, let’s SPIN IN PUBLIC! *Cue heavy metal blast, and upbeat montage as we collectively run to the nearest park with wheels and fiber in tow ♫

We hope to see you out, sharing your incredible, super different talent and craft with the world (and hopefully rockin’ some She Knits Wild merch while you’re at it).

Spin on, friends! And happy WWSIP day!
